Crime and Retribution

It seems that there were some that were unhappy with the rate at which the guard were concluding the recent theft investigations, and were more than happy to believe the headwoman's assertions that Chetwynd was the guilty party. The sailor was found, beaten and bloodied but alive, lying on the road out of the weyr. Whether or not he was guilty of the crimes he had been accused of is still uncertain, but now the guard have something else to investigate - attempted murder.
