A Flurry of Sands

With a great deal of sneakiness, Sevaruth took to the sands in the near dead of night to lay her latest clutch. Choosing the darkest part of night to keep it away from prying eyes she was accompanied only by her rider and the weyr's few night owls. She finished just as the first rays of dawn broke over the horizen and that allowed the awaiting crowds to see her clutch of seven resting on the sands. While they are all large and good sized, none of them carry the color to think that there is a gold in the clutch, even as Sevaruth rapidly worked on covering them with their blankets of sand.
