Glitter Guard

** Half Moon Bay Weyr - West Bowl**
The western end of the great bowl of the Weyr. You can see the steep walls of the crater to the south and south, with small openings and ledges in the cliffside. These are the individual weyrs of dragons and their riders. To the west you can see the great natural arch, and the lagoon, to the east, the center of the bowl. To the south you see a large natural cave opening that has been made into a tunnel. It is the main entrance to the Weyr from the road to Half Moon Bay Hold.

After dealing with Irkevalath and a rather upset prized runner owner a ew days before Sundari has kept to herself. The rider is making her way on through the bowl heading away from the Lagoon with a bag over a shoulder carrying a few things within. She has on a tshirt and shorts, covered in a bit of sand. Sunara is following her while bladdering on about something as most children her age might. "How about we go get something to eat?" Sunny questions with a curious glance back to her daughter. Irkevalath rumbles from his spot settled upon a ledge above still clutching his 'prized' horsetail, no one is getting it. He will give it only to family! Thus Sunara…

Prized runners, Tanit knows very little about such things, but she is eyeing the blue beast rather speculatively on his perch as Sundari and the pack of children make their way up. “I wonder if he would, he’d have plenty of shine to roll in.” The dolphineer murmurs more to herself than anything before giving Sundari a wide grin. “You look like you’ve been busy the last few sevens.”

Sundari hums faintly while glancing to Tanit, af aint smile seen and she looks a bit amused. "We've had a bit of fun." This said with an amused tone while glancing to Sunara who pauses and offers a wave up to Tanit. "Ello!" Is offered with a bright happy tone while she pauses to brush a bit of sand off her swimsuit before glancing up to the blue dragon. "Mom… Irkevalath says I can have his horsetail later… Why can't I have it now?" Sunny just sends a faint look to her daughter not certain what to say.

“Horse – Tail?” Tanit mouths suspiciously, a thick brow curving up. Sunara gets a wide wicked smile too and a wiggle of fingers in greeting. “I might make a suggestion?” The dolphineer grins almost evilly. “Would Irk possibly up for a cargo job a little later this week? There’s quite a bit of a specific sand that has to be transported and they’ve had a hard time finding riders who were free to do it.” Would shiny sand make Irk relinquish the evidence of his misbehavior? Who can say. Still the thought brings a wry grin to her lips.

Has Tanit ever met Irkevalath? The blue tilts his head from her perch an dis looking down at the woman with a curious croon escaping him. "Depends… He wishes to know what sand it is and where it is going." Sundari offers with an amused tone, she leaves her bag on her shoulder while Sunara just grins up at Tanit. "Tail! He got it off this runner…" Though Sunny waves a hand at her daughter. "Don't interupt us dear." Sunara just grins knowing she isn't suppose to talk about /that/ running but she willdo it agan don't you worry!

“It is a very special sand, extremely fine grains in some of the most spectacular iridescent colors you could imagine and the way it sparkles. “ Yes the dolphineer does manage a straight face for this part. “And it’s a present of sorts for Ilyscaeth, since she’s due to clutch any day now, only the best and finest for our queen.” So maybe it’s glitter sand, and maybe this mission involves illicit substances, but Tanit hasn’t lied about any of it.”

Sundari is soon chuckling and is grinning after a moment. "I see… Soft glittery sand for Ilsyscaeth?" She ponders this and glances to Irk who warbles out before hopping down from the perch he had and lans in a thud behind his rider rather easy like. The horetail is dropped into Sunara's waiting hands which makes the girl giggle. "Irkevalath says he would be very happy to help with such things." Sunny offers with a slight shake of her head but is still grinning.

“Very soft, and very glittery.” Tanit notes bursting into a broad smile, “The pickup is scheduled for about a seven from now, but a fresh layer never hurt anything.” R’hyn can’t be too upset after all since he’s keeping contraband himself. The shame! “It’s a date then, now… why is he so enamored of his dead food, I feel like there is a story here.”

Sundari grins and nods. "Consider it done." She soon offers with an amused tone. "Should be interesting to say the least." She hums osftly and glances to Irkevalath and takes in a soft breath while shaking her head slightly. "Well… He took down someonse's prized runner that was too close to the feeing pens a few days back. Needless to say it was a bit of a sitcking situation in the end." It is afternoon around the Weyr, Tanit and Sundari are talking, a large blue ragon by the name of Irkevalath is behind Sunny while Sunara (Sunny's daughter) is between both dragon and mom and seems to be bouncing around and proudly shaking a bit of horsetail fur. Long story in a sense.
