A Letter From Home

Dear Sevran,

You jerk! How dare you get Searched and not tell me! Did you know I had to hear it from Cora? CORA?! She couldn’t stop talking about how awesome Half Moon Bay was and how pretty the water was, and oh, did I know that MY BROTHER WAS STANDING AS CANDIDATE THERE?! Yeah.

Jerk.

Anyways. Thanks for not writing, even though you said you would. I forgive you. I know how it is. But really, would it kill you to send me a little note? Your fingers are not gonna fall off just cause you put pen to paper.

Jerk.

Mom thinks she’s pregnant again. If I could sketch an eyeroll, I would. Of course it’s just a cry for attention. Estraly’s about to have her first baby, and I think mom’s jealous. But whatever.

Jerk.

Stuff at the Hall is good. You wouldn’t believe the number of different fabrics and stitches and just… stuff there is here! It’s amazing. I’d tell you more, but you’d probably fall asleep reading this. Which would be funny, but also a little annoying.

Jerk.

Now that I know you’re there, be ready. There’s a Journeyman swap coming up, and I’m gonna tag along for a visit. No if-ands-or-buts about it. I want to see you. I miss you.

I love you.

Jerk.

Your sister,

Sephany
