Western Weyr's NPCs

SeaWind Wing

B'lez & Blue Jinnith

Rider to Blue Jinnith. B'lez and Sabre had something going before the Hatching, but she didn't impress. He's burly, barrel-chested, and tends to be loud, confident… always giving his opinion. Until, that is, someone with authority comes around, then he deflates like a popped balloon.

D'nier & Brown Ralath

F'rit & Green Quozith

Rider to Green Quozith, F'rit is short, young. Hasn't really sprouted yet, all the lower caverns ladies try to baby him. He *hates* that.

H'slin & Blue Tigleth

In'var & Brown Finteth

Rider to Brown Finteth, I'var is also blond, short hair, ladykiller. ;) Nice guy, but can get rather overconfident.

K'leb & Green Skyeth

Koa - Green Amianth

S'chez & Blue Churuth

Searchrider of blue Churuth. An older man, in his late 40's, he originally impressed at Eastern Weyr at the late age of 24 turns, but the wait was worth it. Churuth became famed for his ability to search candidates. He had never brought a candidate to the Weyr who had not impressed. True, some had not impressed on their first try, but none of them had stood the sands more then twice. Some of the younger riders have had bets riding with him at hatchings, as they were sure Churuth's record wouldn't last much longer, but S'chez knew, surer then Thread would never fall again, that Churuth would never make a mistake. (note: Churuth only searches certain NPC candidates and does not search PCs)

S'thac & Green Posiath

S'thac is tall, wiry and blond, pretty shy, apt to blush.

V'nder & Bronze Tigrath

Dark skinned and quiet, V'ndar is the one who leads the hunt for wild game for Western Weyr, adding meat to the larders. He was raised at Southern Hold and was searched, but transferred to Eastern when he didn't impress at his first try on the sands. At Eastern, he impressed bronze Tigrath. Seeking a challenging environment, he transferred to Western. He is an excellent cook and able to prepare meals in the worst of conditions. Unfortunately, he is a bit egotistical and believes it only a matter of time before Tigrath catches Crystath (Or Ilveraeth nowdays). Not really an evil person, he is just self centered and prideful. He pulls his weight around the Weyr. Anyone wishing to challenge his position however would quickly find V'ndar to be one of the most dangerous knife fighters on Pern and quite determined to keep his rank..or raise it if he could get away with it. V'ndar only takes orders from the Weyrleaders, though he privately believes them to be weak and overly soft-hearted. Most of the weyrfolk admire his skill as a hunter, but shudder to think of him as Weyrleader.

Islet Wing

N'bis & Green Daeannth

N'bis and his green Daeannth could not be the more dissimilar. N'bis is known for being a grouch. Tall pale and awkward, even in his mid thirties, he's not all that good looking and the constant frown on his face certainly doesn't help. He's got a heart of gold underneath his pessimism which is illuminated in his sea-green Daeannth. Daeannth is much after the gossipy victorian maidens, bubbly and sweet in the forms of lace and wild english gardens. Her hide looks distinctly blue in the grass, and green amidst the crystal blue waters of Western's cove. She's large for a green, and while her color is pleasing, she's not all that handsome by dragon standards either.

She and N'bis have stepped down into the Assistant Weyrlingmaster position as a compromise between the two. N'bis- tiring of the position, but Daeannth- enjoying the weyrlings and teaching.

S'mal & Brown Luzath

A young man with a quiet nature, S'mal had been pleasant during his weyrlinghood and had been a great prospect for Seamount, having long since impressed the wingleader. Except … until he realized there was something wrong with Luzath. While his clutch sibs carried on in their classes, Luzath lagged behind, for obvious reasons. Brown Luzath had something wrong with one of his wings which prevented him from flight.

Residents & Crafters

Setem - Weyr Cook/Baker

No Info Yet.

Tidir - Drudge

A Western Weyr drudge. He was found on search originally at Ista, but stood the sands till he was too old. Lacking the talent for any craft and lacking something vital to impressing a dragon, he ended up staying at the Weyr as a drudge. A hard worker and well liked, plus fairly intelligent, he knew he had a better life in a Weyr then as a field hand for some Lord Holder. No one can say why no hatchling would pick him, but he happy enough serving riders and weyrfolk and has no regrets.
